Marcus Henry: Booming economy should adequately fund schools

Regarding Sen. Bob Rucho’s Oct. 29 letter “Historic tax reforms jumpstarted economy”: North Carolina’s economy is booming. A booming economy has the money to fully support N.C. public schools and the UNC System.

So why do Rucho and other Republicans keep cutting school funding?
