Linda Brooks: Women should be outraged

My reaction to Sarah Nagem’s Nov. 11 column “Women say it’s time to bridge the divide” is outrage. The patronizing column just poured salt into open wounds.

How dare a female Donald Trump supporter advise other women to stop being angry about the election. Women should react strongly and angrily that the well-qualified woman who won the popular vote is not president today, and that in her place is a man who has no respect for women and no experience in government, among his other shortcomings.

Don’t tell us to just put a smile on our face and get over it.
