Margie Maddox: An inside attack on the U.S.

For the past day I have been trying to identify the feelings I have been experiencing since the election results. I realized it is very much the same feelings I had after 9/11, maybe even worse.

The America I love and respect has been attacked once more! Did anyone notice that the only voices of congratulations worldwide came from the various dictators, especially those who stand to gain from this projected change in America?

I have always been very proud and felt the world looked up to the United States. My sadness permeates all that I do, and to think Americans did this attack to other Americans.

Although Americans unified after 9/11, I do not see this happening now or anytime in the near future.
