Greg Bruhn: Mocking disabilities unacceptable

I once witnessed an 8-year-boy mocking the involuntary arm flapping of an autistic child. The 8-year-old’s mother was swift in chastising her son’s action and encouraged him to apologize. Mocking someone’s disability is unacceptable behavior for an 8-year-old, much less a grown 70-year-old man, especially when that person’s behavior is a role model for millions.

Where were mom and dad when we needed them on election day?

Greg Bruhn
