Claudia Bowler: GA stocking court unfair

Regarding the Nov. 13 editorial “Hands off N.C.’s high court”: It is very difficult to not view the state legislature as being disrespectful of our democratic process. The state legislature, unhappy with the victory of Judge Mike Morgan (2,134,015 votes or 54.4 percent) over Robert Edmunds (1,785,452 votes or 45.6 percent) for the state Supreme Court, is attempting to legislate against the will of the voters by adding two new seats to the court ostensibly overruling the election results.

Between this and abusive gerrymandering, I just call them cheaters.
