Edward Kelly: Comey must go
Regarding the Nov. 7 news article “Comey: No charges for Clinton in new email review”: James Comey must resign. Under his subpar leadership the email investigation has been botched, and he exceeded the boundaries of his responsibility by recommending no charges be brought against Hillary Clinton instead of leaving that for the Attorney General.
Having been military or a federal employee for over 40 years I know without a doubt laws have been broken, and yet not even the lowest government employee has been disciplined.
He interfered in the presidential election multiple times with his confusing messages. How can anyone have faith in the FBI and believe it’s nonpolitical under Comey? It’s clear that he lacks the vision, leadership and political savvy to continue as the director of the FBI.
We need an independent director who can clean up his mess and restore America’s faith in the organization, and we need one now.
Edward Kelly
