Kenneth Elowitz: Votes do count, mostly

In reading the Nov. 30 news article “GOP: Durham recount could resolve election,” I found some commentary quite comical. The commentary was from NC GOP executive director Dallas Woodhouse, who said regarding the state legislature, “They would never award the election to somebody that didn’t have the most votes.”

Isn’t that what just happened to a candidate for the president of the United States ... for the second time in recent history?
