Daniel W. Squires Jr.: Berger doubletalk
Regarding the Nov. 6 news article “McCrory concedes; Cooper now gov.-elect”: It was interesting to read Phil Berger’s analysis on the conclusion of the governor’s race in North Carolina. He stated that since Roy Cooper won by a “razor-thin plurality” there was no groundswell of support for his policies.
I assume from this logic that he would also apply this to the policies of Donald Trump, who did not even have a plurality of the popular vote at all, losing by 2.5 million votes.
