George T. Barnes: Atheist group bullied Wake County
Regarding the Dec. 14 news article “Wake County school choirs barred from performing at nativity event”: It would appear that WCPSS has allowed itself to be bullied by the Freedom From Religion Foundation, an organization founded by and run by atheists.
Why are we allowing a group based in Wisconsin to dictate where our school choirs can sing this holiday season?
Ironically, in an effort to be so inclusive to everybody, is our progressive society moving closer toward exclusion? Beware, those who try to appeal to everyone, ultimately will appeal to no one.
So, with this season being the time of giving, let’s examine what we are giving up, before we let go of everything worth having.
