Steve Clark: Democrats need to branch out
Democrats, having failed to win under the existing rules, want to do away with the Electoral College and elect the president by nationwide popular vote.
I suggest they must also do away with the Senate and rename the country the United State of America, because clearly they think that the states don’t matter.
I think that instead of changing the Constitution, the Democratic Party should reform itself to appeal to parts of the country outside the big cities.
