Ann G. Martin: Height of Republican irony
Regarding Rep. Nelson Dollar’s March 3 letter “Nothing to show”: It is the height of Republican General Assembly irony for Dollar to accuse Gene Nichol of having “no fresh ideas.” This accusation from the group that adopts legislation verbatim from its corporate sponsors, the Koch brothers, via the American Legislative Exchange Council, is ironic indeed.
Furthermore, Dollar’s remarks effectively confirm that the closing of the poverty center was both political and personal.
