Tim Gee: The real electorate

Regarding the Jan. 23 news article “Trump, amid combative start, pledges to rise to moment”: The president offered up such a delicious “straight line” that to pass it up would amount to dereliction of duty.

He said in a tweet, “... ( I ) was under the impression that we just had an election! Why didn’t these people vote?”

Mr. President, they did vote; what he is seeing are 25 percent of the voters the Electoral College decided didn’t count.
