S. Stewart Vick: Real meaning of ‘school choice’

Regarding the Feb. 5 Under the Dome article “Tillis: DeVos will improve school choice”: I have no doubt that Sen. Thom Tillis is correct in his opinion. My problem is with his use of the term “school choice.”

Any reasonable, thoughtful person knows that “school choice” is just a polite, devious code for “school segregation.” It would be more honorable for individuals who use the term “school choice” to just say what they mean and mean what they say.
