Don Taylor: Cooper correcting missteps

I understand that many people wish the Gov. Roy Cooper’s House Bill 2 repeal had been a better deal for our LBGT community. So do I, and I’ll bet the governor does too.

But despite the idea that politics is the art of persuasion, some people can’t be persuaded. Politics in this case, on the part of Cooper, was the art of progress. Yes, and we did go forward to correct at least some of the missteps that HB2 took downward. Bravo governor, forge on!
