Donald B. Zepp: Myopic Moore doesn’t get it
Regarding the April 11 news article “Medicaid expansion will have a rough ride in the legislature”: Can it be that when House Speaker Tim Moore said, about Medicaid expansion: “The best thing for the working poor is to continue to grow the economy” he actually believes that the “best thing” for poor people is to deny them health care until things get so good that all that wealth starts to trickle down to the survivors? Really? How insensitive and myopic.
