Marla Cramer: Balancing the General Assembly

The March 13 Under the Dome item “Stam to lead in House on Wake elections” offered Rep. Paul Stam’s explanation of a bill affecting Wake County, which he is shepherding through the N.C. House, thusly: “The bill would make the county commission ... more evenly balanced between the two political parties.”

Interesting. May I suggest he follow up by introducing an anti-gerrymandering bill that would make the entire N.C. General Assembly “more evenly balanced between the two political parties”?
