Ken Henke: The way to eradicate poverty

Regarding the March 10 letter “True poverty worker”: Art Pope opens a business that pays minimum wages selling items that only a minimum-wage earner can afford is not a true poverty worker. The person working in his stores is a true poverty worker!

The way to eradicate poverty is through learning centers that teach people how to start their own businesses, acquire and manage financing and navigate their way through the business world.
