Your March 21 editorial “SEANC sorry: Leaders of the State Employees Association of N.C. offer a belated apology” reminded me of all the email messages I’ve received from SEANC denying the accusations. I have been a member of the SEANC for many years and sometimes contribute to SEANC in addition to the membership fee. If I’d known that eyebrow waxing was going on with my contributions, I would have saved that money for myself.
An apology is not enough. I agree the SEANC president should have been gone from his post weeks, ago, along with all members of SEANC’s executive committee. It is not too late.
