Dave Bunker: Cruz the uniter

Regarding the March 25 editorial “Right’s knight”: The reasons for electing Sen. Ted Cruz (or anyone like him) are exactly the reasons this paper uses against him.

President Obama has been the most divisive president this century, using race, denomination, education, marriage, economic status etc., to divide the American public. He is famous for supporting one group (e.g. the economically disadvantaged) by claiming unfair advantage by those who have done well. Why not help all classes of citizens? A stronger economy should benefit all constituents as one example.

Cruz intends to unite America around its constitutional origins regardless of the divisions that Obama so often speaks to.
