Elbert H. Mudge: Ill-gotten tax money

Regarding the March 19 news article “N.C. Senate, McCrory at odds”: Isn’t it nice that our legislature is having a difficult time deciding where to throw our tax money? Of course, because of tax law changes, it gets to use money confiscated from the sick, the disabled and the elderly.

Our own North Carolina income taxes almost tripled this year because we can’t deduct medical expenses any longer.
