Jeffrey Occhipinti: Bring back baseball box scores

I am a huge baseball fan and truly enjoy analyzing the box scores every morning in the newspaper. It brings me great sadness to have your fine newspaper not include them anymore.

I was so excited to get my paper recently and look to see what happened after opening day of the major league baseball season and then saw to my horror there was a small blurb stating that box scores are no longer included.

We can relive the entire game through a box score in the newspaper, freely flipping back and forth by the light of a candle or campfire. No electricity, computers, phones or tablets necessary.

Today is a sad day. Please bring them back.
