David Stinson: Hangman for UNC BOG

Regarding the March 12 news article “UNC begins search for next leader”: I’d like to save the Board of Governors time and money. The BOG is developing a description of the qualities needed for the next leader of the university system and paying for a consultant.

I’d suggest these requisite qualities: The candidate agrees the predecessor, while universally acknowledged as highly competent at his job, is woefully lacking in conservative credentials; the candidate’s conservative beliefs should lead us to believe a public education is a bad thing; and the first letter of the candidate’s first name should be an “A” and the first letter of the second name should be a “P.”
