Donations should be public

As a taxpayer, I believe I have a right to know whether companies doing business with the federal government have made political contributions to any elected officials or political parties. The influence of corporate contributions and big-money PACs threatens our democracy, and I should be able to get information about corporations benefiting from my tax dollars.
