Fred Robinson: New ‘ABC’ club arising
After reading Ned Barnett’s excellent April 12 column “The trouble with Hillary,” I find his thoughts spot on. And as a lifelong Republican who has all too often been both embarrassed and shamed by my Grand Old Party, I now find myself equally embarrassed by the Democratic Party, to wit: “Please, people. Is this the best you can come up with?”
Growing up in Raleigh in the ’40s, I became and remain a huge NCSU sports fan, as well a proud member of the ABC “Anybody But Carolina” Club. But it might be time to rethink on that a bit, to wit: “Anybody But Clinton.”
