Doug Richmond: Good billionaires

I breathe a sigh of relief! For years I have read editorials, op-eds and letters railing (maybe too strong a word) against the conservative billionaires, mostly the Koch brothers and their unequal pressure on the political processes, especially in North Carolina. I kept thinking that certainly there are some liberal, progressive, Democratic billionaires around.

Zounds! Now it appears there are, according to the Charlotte Observer editorial “A liberal uprising headed to N.C.” reprinted April 17.

Now I expect we will have to contend with the opinion that these billionaires are, however, good billionaires, not like the dastardly Koch brothers.
