John Holtz: GOP bankrupting state

The April 22 news article “N.C. House bill would let cities, towns add to sales tax” is another article about our Republican legislature proposing another way to raise revenue lost by cutting the business privilege tax and income taxes that mostly benefited the well off.

North Carolina is going the way of Kansas by bankrupting the state and trying to make up for it by balancing the budget off the less fortunate and the struggling middle class that are trying to still make it out of the last Republican financial malfeasance.

When are Republicans and voters going to understand that “trickle down, voodoo,” supply-side Reaganomics is an utter failure?
