Margaret W. Flintom: No ‘whim’ decision

Regarding the May 2 Point of View “72-hour delay bad medicine” by David A. Grimes and Amy G. Bryant: House Bill 465 is a travesty for women who already have great trepidations about their decision to abort and have certainly given it more than 72 hours of consideration. Abortion is not a “whim” decision.

My question is why legislators who claim they are in favor of less government in our lives are so entrenched in imposing legislation that cannot be more personal or private! And reporting patient information is merely one more way to intimidate.
