Regarding the April 17 news article “New tensions emerge in war over N.C. billboards”: Think about it! We awaken to our radio alarm, we hear advertising. We read the morning newspaper, more advertising. Drive to work, radio advertising. Fire up our computer, pop-up advertising. Drive home, more advertising. Watch evening TV, major advertising.

After being exposed to a multitude of advertising on an average day, do we really need more billboard advertising?
