Regarding the April 29 news article “Schaffer’s bill would ease gun rules”: I strongly support Rep. Jacqueline Schaffer’s bill to arm prosecutors. However, I don’t think she went far enough.

Isn’t the defense guaranteed equal rights? Defense attorneys should be allowed to pack as well.

As a concerned citizen, I would be leery of serving on a jury with all that firepower around me, so we might as well include jurors.
