Tom Collins: Rucho the soothsayer

Regarding the May 21 news article “Energy bill vote is questioned”: Our legislators’ mystical capabilities never cease to amaze me.

Sen. Bob Rucho stated, “There was no doubt in my mind what the vote would be.” If so, why was he afraid to hold a proper vote?

Maybe North Carolina can save on all these unnecessary future elections. We can just ask Rucho who will win and save the voters’ time and the state’s money.
