Ted Ammering: Clinton’s new culture concerning

Hillary Clinton recently told attendees at the sixth annual Women in The World Summit that “deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed” for the sake of giving women access to “reproductive health care and safe childbirth” (“Our wobbling religious liberty,” May 14 column). Wow.

Her liberal view of acceptance and tolerance is to tell me I cannot subscribe to deep-seated cultural codes (values developed over the almost 240 years of our nation’s existence), and I must change my religious beliefs and, in turn, accept and support her view on reproductive health care (code words for abortion on demand during any trimester).

This pretender to the throne should strike grave concern into the hearts of those who value freedom, life, truth, ethics, freedom of thought, transparency, separation of power, state’s rights and our Constitution.
