Gale Meese: Inexecusable oversight

Regarding the June 7 news article “The unstable or infirm find spotty care in Wake” on Dontay Jones: Thank you for your investigative reporting on the total lack of oversight by the Wake County government on behalf of its wards. I could hardly believe what I was reading!

Where is the accountability? How can our so-called leaders and commissioners allow this to happen? Who is in charge of this program?

Please keep on this story since your article led to the June 9 news article “Wake promises better oversight.”

We need to know exactly what steps are being taken, and by whom, to address the deplorable living conditions some of these people have to endure. Again, thanks for bringing this inexcusable situation to the attention of Wake County residents.
