Letters to the Editor

Mary Alice Yarbrough: What would Jesus do?

Has Franklin Graham lost or misplaced his “What Would Jesus Do?” bracelet? Is there anyone who believes that Jesus would have $150-plus million sitting in a North Carolina bank?

Those dollars were donated by people representing all ethnicities, sexes, genders, political views, sexual orientations, economic statuses and cultures to help alleviate poverty, hunger, health problems, substandard housing and natural disasters. So why then are these funds being used to try to coerce a bank into accepting Graham’s own personal views?

I advise Graham to take a minute and ask himself WWJD and then do it. Perhaps we’d have a different article in The N&O.
