Dale Whitfield: All Americans

I was offended by the June 19 political “cartoon” depicting the Confederate flag at half staff in front of the South Carolina State House. I am also appalled at the tragedy in Charleston.

What would the outrage be if the skin color of the victims and alleged perpetrator were reversed?

Do some research. The Confederate flag does not represent hate or slavery although some factions have made it such. We are all Americans regardless of ethnic background.

How can we get to that point when instigators keep pushing us in the other direction?
