Norm Grodi Sr.: NRA not to blame

The June 28 letter “The NRA’s part” said that the NRA gets income from the purchase of every firearm sold. I have to question the letter-writer’s facts.

I have been an NRA member for many years, and this is the first I have heard of this happening. Show me where to find this info.

The NRA is still a gun-safety organization and has a proven track record for safety instruction. It also cares about innocent people, including children.

As an NRA member I do not feel guilty, as the letter-writer said that all NRA members should, because of the shooting in Charleston.

The shooting did not have anything to do with the NRA, concealed carry or any legal gun ownership.
