Tom Crudele: Wave the U.S. flag
During the Memorial Day and Fourth of July holidays as well as throughout the year, I am extremely disappointed to see that very few residents have their U.S. flags on display outside of their residences.
After the 9/ 11 tragedy it was incredible and heartwarming to see how united we were as a nation. The number of homes with the stars and stripes displayed was incredible.
We must never forget that we live in a country that by far is the best to live, and we should be proud and honored to display it not only on holidays but throughout the year!
Instead of focusing on the Confederate flag, let us as a nation refocus ourselves by displaying the U.S. flag every day.
