Jerry Felinczak: No anti-gun respect
The July 6 column “I own guns, but I hate the NRA” was a nice try by an anti-gun activist to portray himself as pro-gun, but he fails in his attempt to discredit the NRA and makes himself look foolish. He is an anti-gun fox in sheep’s clothing when it comes to gun rights.
Other than the NRA and Grass Roots North Carolina, the law-abiding gun owner does not have a lot of activist organizations to help defend our constitutional right to own firearms.
David Fellerath should be honest about his intentions. If he is opposed to owning firearms, other than his “long guns,” he would have my respect. Acting as pro-gun when he clearly is not is dishonest.
