George F. Locke: The dark side

I noticed that the July 5 Under the Dome “House airs concerns on Senate budget” featured a photograph of the state’s House Finance co-chairman, Rep. Jason Saine, sitting behind a laptop with a Star Wars “death star” logo on it.

I’m conflicted between feeling uncomfortable at the thought of an alliance with the “dark side” and feeling relief that I finally have an explanation for what has been happening in North Carolina for the last several years.
