Lee Tobin: Fit for a King

Regarding the Aug. 12 Focus article “King’s dream speech rings out again”: It’s exciting to learn that Dr. Martin Luther King delivered his “I Have A Dream” speech to an audience in a high school gymnasium in Rocky Mount nine months before he brought it to our nation on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.

Perhaps our North Carolina license plates should read, “First in Dreams.”
