Marvin Maddox: ‘Soldiers’ Lives Matter’

The Republican presidential candidates are beginning to outline their plans for success against ISIS, and they involve more American “boots on the ground.” Is anyone surprised?

Jeb Bush and Donald Trump haven’t specified an exact number and may not want to go as high as Lindsey Graham. I assume that Bush is getting advice from the same folks who advised his brother.

How many billions of dollars and American lives are we willing to spend on expanding this war? Is there any hope that we can turn the Middle East into a peaceful democratic paradise?

I’m retired from the military, and I think that “Soldiers’ Lives Matter.”

Marvin Maddox
