Suzanne Albanese: Good guys in blue

I’m writing to express my appreciation to law enforcement officers and good Samaritans of Raleigh.

Recently my son and his friend were mugged after they left a concert. The boys’ phones and wallets were taken. Within minutes of the assault, they were able to borrow the phone of a person who was driving by and stopped to offer assistance.

Thanks to this person and the quick action of the police officers, the muggers were found and stolen items returned.

The criticism of law enforcement is rampant. It’s time to recognize the good works these professionals do for the community.
