Sandra Peyser: Clueless remark

I often read comments by politicians in the paper and think to myself, “They are really clueless about that situation.” But the comment in the Sept. 10 news article “Wake considers which schools to fast-track” by school board Chairwoman Christine Kushner referencing “Sophie’s Choice” goes all the way to grossly inappropriate.

To say that deciding where to build a school is equivalent to deciding which child to send to the gas chamber is just plain wrong. Shame on her cluelessness.
