Valorie Jones: GOP security
Since the Republicans have control of the General Assembly and the governor’s office, and we voters have been experiencing their brand of government, why is it necessary for them to continue the extreme gerrymandering of the voting districts?
If their brand is so great, they should hold their own in a fair election, so why do they object so strenuously to legislative redistricting that has broad public support? Perhaps they feel they cannot win unless the deck is totally stacked in their favor.
