Dan Sears: No support for needy
Regarding the Sept. 21 news article “N.C. budget cuts $110 million from regional mental health”: Societies are judged by history on their treatment of their children, their elderly and those afflicted. With cuts in the mental health programs in North Carolina of $110 million, we are reminded yet once again of the Republican disenfranchisement of our most needy, weak and afflicted. Shame on them all.
