Martin Eagle: Sanders clear winner

Nearly every post Democratic debate poll, including those from MSNBC, Time, Slate, Drudge, CNN, Fox, Twitter, Facebook, etc., showed Bernie Sanders as the winner by a substantial margin.

So it was quite a surprise to read your Oct. 15 editorial “Clinton wins Round One” declaring Hillary Clinton the winner.

Until very recently there has been a disturbing virtual conspiracy of silence in the media regarding Sanders, broken only when his enormous surge in supporters and campaign contributions made him impossible to ignore.

Now, there seems to be an even more ominous attempt to conceal his debate success. Your obligations to your readers and to journalistic ethics demand that you take more care to provide the truth.
