Alexander W. Macklin IV: Carson no ‘crackpot’
I usually read your editorial and opinion pages with amusement at the railings of the progressives. One can know confidently that the truth is almost always directly opposite to that which they state as fact.
However, the vitriol spewed by Eugene Robinson concerning Dr. Ben Carson in his Oct. 13 column “Dr. Ben Carson, crackpot” went a little too far to be amusing.
Robinson, a militant progressive, was incorrect in every negative point he raised concerning Carson. For one thing, Robinson stated that Carson “disbelieves established science on evolution and climate change.”
Macro evolution is far from established science, but rather a “matter of faith” for those who either deny God or believe in science falsely so-called. While Robinson did not say “man-made” climate change, this is what the progressives incorrectly believe, and this is the conclusion of much discredited “scientific evidence” and the opinion of political zealots from academe to the White House who dominate progressive thinking.
