Keith Houck: McCrory serves cronies

Regarding the Oct. 31 news article “McCrory brokered meeting to extend donor’s contracts”: The governor’s shameless pandering to those with connections and money bring further embarrassment to North Carolinians.

The governor claims not to have heard the demand for payback from his donor, but his actions speak for themselves.

By this point in McCrory’s term, it is clear his goal is to serve the wealthy and connected, including political friends and his former employer at the expense of teachers, the poor, the elderly, the environment and more.

Beware, with the job your investigative reporters are doing, we can expect to see the governor shutting down the UNC School of Journalism next!
