David Work: Britain’s election process better
We seem to be steaming ahead with publicity for the next election for the presidency even though the actual Election Day is a year away.
All of this sells space on radio, television and newspapers, of course, but is it better than what occurs in other countries such as Great Britain? There the official process from nomination to election takes place in about six weeks.
I think not, and remember that we have a year until the federal Election Day.
I have already had an overdose of candidates bloviating at each other with no discernible progress.
