Brandie L. Davis: Christian disbelief

The outrage from Christians across the nation is over two such trivial things that it would seem ludicrous to most intelligent people that any person or group of people could be so upset.

Christians groups are mad over a national chain’s coffee cup design and over an advertisement for a doll featuring two loving fathers and their children.

It seems as if modern Christians have strayed far from the original teachings of Christ – that we all love, respect, and help one another – and have instead turned into hate mongers.

When I read about people turning away from the Christian church, it comes as no surprise.
