Eowyn Blum: Refugees part of U.S. fabric

On my way to fifth grade this morning, I learned that Gov. Pat McCrory wants to keep Syrian refugees from migrating to North Carolina. I think what he is doing is unfair.

These people may die if we do not let them into our country. America is a country where we accept everyone no matter what they look like or what they believe.

Part of my family came to the United States to avoid being murdered by Hitler. Part of my family came to the America before America was a country so they could worship as they wished.

All people deserve to have a place that is safe. By rejecting the refugees, McCrory has left behind the meaning of being an American.
